Update On Amy

I just got a call from Amy and they have found gallstones. She has been through h**l tonight and has been so sick for the past 3-4 weeks. The ER doctor told her he was going to call the surgeon. She is not sure yet when they will operate or what they are going to do yet. They are keeping her in the hospital. Please pm me for the name and number of the hospital.

Please keep Amy in your prayers. She is very sick and needs all of our support and prayers. Thanks to everyone who called me tonight and helped Amy out. I appreciate all of you so much :angel:

I have had my gallbladder removed and for me it was not bad at all. The pain prior to having it removed is pretty bad and very annoying. I hope she can have the laperscopic (sp) sugery and not the older form. The older surgery has a much longer recovery. I found that I felt pretty back to normal after a week with the laperscopic. Either way she has been though so much recently her gallbladder removal will be a bit harder on her. I hope she gets it out soon and starts to heal.

oh wow,i just posted on another thread to find out what was going on,i didn't see all this last night.i feel so bad,she has gone through so much lately,i don't think i could have dealt with all of that at once.laura have you heard anything else about her today????

Hi everyone,

I talked with Amy last night, and they are going to keep her in the hospital. They will do the gallbadder surgery this morning using the laperscopic method. She was told that this could cause a lot of the symptoms that she had been having. So that in itself is a great relief. I did however tried to call her mom and she is not at home, and the hospital says that she is not there now. They could not locate her room or anything this morning. Ummmm.
I hope they did go ahead so she can get over this long bout of illness and give her some relief. If anyone else has heard anything different from this info. I am giving you, please let me know. Thanks.

I just called the hospital and Amy is in the surgical holding area. They just gave her some sedating medication so she can relax. It was kind of hard to understand her but she said she was not sure yet if they were going to operate. I think they are waiting to see how she does after she gets some rest. Maybe it is a gallstone attack and they are waiting for it to pass. She is sleeping now so please don't call right now. I told her to call me back later and keep us posted so we will know how she is doing.
