My husband and I have decided to have baby number 2. The only problem is my IC is hormone related and that means I need to go off of my bc pills. The pills are the only thing that keep me out of excruciating pain. Has anyone had this issue in the past? Can you give me an idea of what to expect in the next few months?

I only take prosed and advil for pain right now when I have a flare, but before I started on my bc pills I needed more. I'm starting to stress about this - which I know isn't the best idea...

I see my doctor in two weeks for a follow up and I'm going to talk everything over with her as well (medication wise).

Thanks!

How do you feel once you're pregnant? I feel AWFUL when I'm not on the pill. I have been contemplating TTC again too and so my plan is to try and get pregnant the very first month I'm off the pill. That way I'm in less misery. My last OB told me I should wait for 3 mos to get the pill out of my system but I waited 4 mos and still miscarried last time. I know so many others who got pregnant the first month off the pill and were fine so I'm not waiting! You could use those ovulation sticks too.

I wasn't diagnosed with IC until after my first munchkin so I'm not sure how this one will go. My doctor thinks my c-section may have triggered my IC. I got pregnant with our first child after only three weeks of trying. This time I may wait the first month waiting period so I can let my body get back into the swing of things. We'll see... I really don't know what to do...
