Grateful To Honor Deb

Today, I got an email from Donna saying that she put my name as moderator of Deb's board here. Cindy had wrote Donna and asked her if I could moderate it, and I feel so honored that I can honor Deb in this way. She was really an angel and blessing to all of us, and I know that when I first came to the boards I was scared and felt alone, but I got a sweet PM from her assuring me everything would be OK, and to hang in there, there's hope. :)

Through everything I have gone through in the last month, I've been hanging in there, knowing that there is hope. So let's keep this board active and going--for Deb's sake!!! :) What are you all grateful for today??

I am grateful for this, of course! And although my family is going through a lot right now, I am grateful that I am able to be a rock for my mom, when she needs that the most. I am grateful for the daily phone calls I've been getting from Cindy through this, as well as sympathy cards I've been receiving, like a beautiful one I got from Betsie. I am grateful for pain medication that is kicking in LOL. I am mostly grateful for a lesson taught to me by Deb, and my uncle...live each day as if it is your last, and appreciate those you love, love with your heart and soul, and love with a passion and bond that even time can't break...

I am also grateful for this chance...jeez I am teary...I loved Deb so much, and being able to do this just means the world to me.

You're a real sweetie and I'm so sorry you've been having such a difficult time. Even in difficult times though we all usually have much to be grateful for--just to be able to awake, get out bed and go about our daily activities are all blessings from God. angel

Hi Jess, and I think it is wonderful that you are the moderator on this board. I know Debbie is watching over us all, and I sure she is smiling with joy, as you are taking care of this message board. I can truly say I am so grateful, for all of the wonderful gals I have met, dealing with my IC. I am grateful for having my family, supporting me everyday, with their love, and caring. Hope that you all know how much, you have improved my way of life, by just being here, and sharing your lives with me. Jess, I am so glad that your mum has you to help, and support her right now, you are one wonderful, caring daughter, your mother must be really proud of you. I am grateful today for my brother, who called me when things were down, and brought me back up.

Amen to that, Donna. We got a foot of snow in less than two days, and it was 40 degrees and sunny today--a nice change--and hopefully our 5 feet of snow on the ground will melt!!

How are you doing? Are you feeling okay? Things have been downhill over here, my sister had to rush her hubby to the e.r. the other night by ambulance, he has really bad pneumonia and pleuresy (sp?) and she has the same thing. And my uncle just passed, I'm in a flare, and two other uncles are sick as well as my grandfather. What a mess!! I PROMISE that when I get some time I will give you a call, I miss you so much!

Today I am grateful to get my nail appointment for tomorrow!!! :)

Jess...so sorry to hear about all the turmoil, and especially about your uncle passing. It is no wonder you are in a flare! {{{{Jess********. LOL Sheri when I get my nails done I will think of you! I got a 2 p.m. appointment and getting a full set of acrylics. I used to have them when I was a senior in high school but they didn't last long at work (I worked at an insurance agency, lots of filing and typing :rolleyes: ) The one thing that sticks out most in my mind about that agency was the bathroom cuz I was in it so much!! LOL

I can't wait till we can get a chance to chat, I still have your number and will probably call you during the day since you got your little ones to take care of at night. wink

Congrats Jess,I do think you are perfect for taking it over.You are such an inspiration to me and i'm sure many more here at the site.
I do hope things do get better for you and your family.I know it is always hard to loose someone.

I have a wake tomorrow night and a funeral on friday. for a special sister-in-law.

I know how hard things can be and you have had your share way to much.

I am greatful every day I wake up and every night my family gets in safe for the night.and for this wonderful site & much more but my brain isn't working to well.This year has been tuff but getting beter.
