Recently my CT Scan showed that I have Pelvic congestion Syndrome along with my IC..., It is like varicose veins in the pelvis. Basically the blood backs up in the ovaries etc. when i am sitting or standing. the veins themselves can actually bulge.
from reading this I am amazed that I have not heard of this one here before since the can contribute to alot of pelvic pain issues. It is also hard to diagnoise...., I was lucky in that at the time of my CT scan the veins to my ovaries are enlarged. Normally this is hard to see unless you are standing up and test are not done this way.

I am still learning about treatment options etc. and at this point may end up with a complete hysterectomy...,

Has anyone else ever been diagnoised with this?

My URO is an IC doctor and had never heard of it...,He was very surprised since he is quite sure I also have IC!

i wonder how many times this is missed in IC patients??? I have been through many many tests before....? The one article I read said about 15% of people with this also have other pelvic pain issues.

Thoughts input anyone?
