I have alot going on in my life right now and am not making any rash decisions. I am not ready for surgery anytime soon.
However, I had considered the interstim before and decided that I wasn't ready for it yet. But now I have incontinence EVERY DAY, several times a day! So I am wondering if interstim helps with incontinence? Isn't that what it was originally made for? Would it help with incontinence due to IC or just over active bladder?
I just wanted a little info before going to see my Doc in December.
Thanks!

I would think it would help with both (IC or otherwise)

They still might have patient stories....if you went to
www.interstim.com I believe her name was Lori and had a pic of her and her dog.

If that's not her I KNOW they had a story (or several with incontience being the issue)...it was just really interesting to see how each persons symtoms were relived with this device..,

Good Luck in whatever you decide!!! :hi:

Rachel,
I was talking to another member here and she is doing the Urgent PC. It is where they put a small needle into your ankle and then turn on something like a tens unit and they leave it on for 30 minutes. It takes about 10 treatments and I think it is made for incontinence. You might want to check that out also because it is not very invasive. I can pm you the name of the member that is doing it right now.
Good Luck,
Laura
