I can eat these without flaring. Anyone else?
They are not on THE LIST. I'd like to try other beans. Anyone?

I can definitely eat black-eyed peas. It was one of my first "safe" foods. Navy beans or white beans are also okay for me. My mom makes them home-made.

Would you share how you prepare the white beans? I tried one recipe but they were bland.
I've tried black beans and it's kind of russian roulette -- sometimes I'm ok and other times I am not, so I don't eat anymore.
I can eat Garbanzo Beans in the form of homemade, lemon-free hummus.
I am thinking about trying kidney beans...
What do you do with black eyed peas??
Any bean ideas and success stories would be appreciated!

I eat black eyed peas with basmati rice, salt and herbs/oil or butter. Put them in vegetable soups (home made) etc.
I am going to try chickpeas. Anyone?
Some beans may bother if citric acid is used to can them. Check labels...the organic company's don't use it in canning.

I love to eat lentils in soup on a cool winter day, or sprouted lentils on my salad to add some protein. Lentils do not cause bladder symptoms for me.
