I wanted to post this on the recipe board

Artichoke Recipe

Medium Artichoke
Italian bread crumbs
Parmesan Cheese
Garlic
Olive oil
Butter

Cut the tops of the Artichokes, turn them upside down and kind of hit them on the counter. This is to open them up to stuff them, This is the only way I know how to explain this..lol

Mix all ingredients together except olive oil and butter..

Put the mix in the leaves of the artichoke, fill the leaves pretty full..
Place in a baking pan snug with other artichokes, Drizzle olive oil and butter over the Artichokes as much as you want to your taste. Add water to pan about half way add if needed. Cover and bake for about an hour on 350 or until tender..

This is the best way to cook them.. If there bigger then of course cook them longer. And you can replace any of the ingredients.. It's really good to put minced shrimp or crab meat in them..

Hope you enjoy

Ronda---aaaah, this is Mario Batali's recipe, no? I tried it a couple of years ago; I have NO idea what I did wrong, however it was a disaster--a very expensive one I might add! Some parts were over cooked and some undercooked--have no idea how this may have happened..hahaha..I've been scared to try it again.

Wow LeeLee, Thank you, Thank you!!!

This is one of my favorite dishes that I haven't had in years! My sister-in-law (actually outlaw, too long of story) fixed this once and I loved it. Because she doesn't speak to me, I never had an opportunity to get the receipe from her!

I love when stuff (get it) happens. I am going to make them tonight!

Thanks again. As always you are a sweetie!
