Anyone else interested in watching these tonight? I cant wait to see Reba and Leanne Rimes do the duet together. And Taylor Swift is performing twice. Plus everyone will be all dressed up and looking good..especially the guys! :bow:The CMA red carpet is on CMT right now. Im in the office until the award show starts. At 7 Jerry said I could watch the awards on the big TV in the livingroom.

He doesnt like country so I have a feeling we will be trading places or he will go to be early. He just has no taste in music:lmao:

I'm drooling over Carrie Underwoods new CD!!!!!!!!! I'm also in love with Martina McBride's new CD. I missed the opening of the CMA's because I was on the phone trying to help a friend out. Did Carrie Underwood open? Do any of you know where I can see it? I'm going to buy Taylor Swift right now.

We saw Keith Urban here in Auburn Hills last Saturday and the concert was the BEST I have ever SEEN..........he played for 2 1/2 hours.............NEVER left the stage except for the gap before the encore..........which by the way lasted what................4-5 songs.................45 minutes??? OMG I am in LOVE........watch out Nicole...............droooooooling here! lol

I watched it on and off. Really didn't have the time. I did sit still and drooled all over the place when George Strait was on. I still think he is HOT!!

Carrie Underwood is so beautiful and has the voice of an angel.
I loved Kelli Pickler's song and the way she sang it with so much emotion.
I still love George Straight too, he has a mischevious smile :smile tee:smile tee

I was pleased with all the winners, especially Taylor. She was so cute. "This is the highlight of my senior year!". I was so tickled for her! How many people can say that in their acceptance speech! Everytime Kelly Pickler sings that song, she cries. I know it is such an emotional song for her.

Sorry Octoberfarm, I don't like George Strait, my sister-in-law loves him and always tells me that I am not a real "country fan" if I don't like him, but his songs just aren't peppy. I do like ballads, but his just seem too slow. There are only a few songs of his that I will listen to. Carrie was definitely deserving. I also enjoyed Reba with LeAnn. I am actually listening to her CD right now. I love the one she sings with Carol King and Kenny Chesney.

I just bought Carrie's new CD over the weekend. I am trying to like it, but it doesn't seem to be as good as her first. I do like the song "Last Name" and "The Boys I Meet". I made a mistake of listening to the critics. They tore her apart for her "sophmore" album. I am sure after I listen to the songs (and the words) I will like it better.
