Dear Interstitial Cystitis,
You have taken many things from me with in the past 12 months. You have invaded my life like a unwanted terrorist in our land. You have hurt not only me but my families. My Family is caught in the cross fire of this battle. I can not believe that you have caused me to be in 3 major surgeries in 12 months. Because of you, I will not be able to conceive a baby girl for my dear husband. I hate you and everything about you. When I get up in the morning, I'm in pain. In the afternoon, pain then in night time, pain again. You didn't come alone, brought yourself; but you also brought your friend Irritable bowel symptom, pelvic congestion syndrome, left quadrant trigger points, Endometriosis, Vulvodynia, and Vestibulitis. Theses friends have caused me to be on many medications that are causing many side effects that are some times hard for my family and I.
Interstitial cystitis, my doctor has a plan to help me and this in no way benefits you but me. I'm now taking the Appell Cocktail treatment everyday because with out this treatment I'm in unbearable pain. You had the best of me in the past, but you want have the best of me in the future. One day our world will have a cure for the babies, young men & women, and the adults all around the world that are experiencing such pain and agony on q daily basis. Interstitial Cystitis you won one battle but you will not will the war. I will continually spend the word of your pain and heartaches that are associated with you. One day you will be eliminated with the research of our doctors and the doctors that take great care of me at OB/GYN, P.C. in Birmingham Alabama, under Dr Clarence Paul Perry and Dr. Alex Childs, I will continue to win this fight against you. We will win this fight and to all the people around the world that are affected by this illness, we will come through this and I will be better than I was better. This is a transformation for my family and I.:grouphug:
