Birthday Depression

Tomorrow I will be the big 25 and I am so depressed about it. I should be more accomplished by now. Out of college a few more kiddies etc. After getting dx'd it seems like my bdays are looked at like okay how many more miserable birthdays to come? They aren't a celebration to me anymore. I feel like IC has cheated me out of another year of my life. Just sad and crying needed to gripe. Thanks 4 listening

I have felt like you before. I have felt like you before IC. For some reason our generation does not accomplish milestones at the time previous generations have. We are slow. I have actually read an artical about it. It was a great artical. I wish I had it for you Stop measuring your self against everyone else. Look at what you have accomplished and be proud.

I used to feel that way, then I decided that the day was a special day to my mom, so I enjoy it more. I appreciate my boy's birthdays more than my own (of courses they are grown now). Curl is so right, we shoudn't measure ourselves with anyone else! Enjoy your day!!!!
