I think that some types of BCP cause IC. I had to have mine changed for different reasons, and it seems now that my IC is doing much much better.
I think that they played a big role in my IC and my first DR wouldn't switch them for me eventhough they were bothering me so I went to another nicer one and she changed them for me. Now I'm much better smile.gif

I think that could be right cause I just found out my harmones are high and I have always had Ic. And birth control does change harmones.

I think IC probably is genetic, but infections, pelvic trauma, or hormones may be a trigger that starts symptoms.
