okay guys,
i've been dx'd with pcos and am getting tested for diabetes (which i'm sure i'm @least PREDIABETIC. both my dad and grandfather have type 2 diabetes). besides being completely stressed about it, i'm worried about medications.

is anyone here on glucophage for pcos/diabetes? i read that it causes severe diarrhea :(. what about Aldactone? it's a diuretic so i'm afraid of that. but i'm losing hair and just broke out into acne ALL OVER and it's supposed to help w/that.

also, what is the best bcp for pcos and ic? sigh. so many ?s. thanks for your help guys. i'm @a loss for what to say to ppl anymore b/c everything just keeps going wrong w/me. my body is just breaking down. i want a lobotomy so i don't have to KNOW what's going on anymore :(.
:help:   :cussing: :bonk:

Hey,
I was dxed with PCOS at age 14 and went through all sorts of treatments for that and endo. Please PM me and I would be happy to help. Glucophage is actually very helpful for it! I had gestational diabetes with Lindsey but am very careful now and have not had any sign of anything diabetes related.

Hugs,
Barb

I was just placed on Glucophage when I was diagnosed with Diabetes three weeks ago. They said it might give me an upset stomach for a while, but it didn't at all.
