cold and flu

I have been sick with a really bad cold and flu for about 3 days and had to stop my elmiron and will be off about a week!
i have only been on it a month.

I am so wiped out from this cold flu there is no way i could handle taking it while i am so sick !

just wondered if anyone has any advice! b
I guess i should of tried to stay on it but since i get very fatigued from it I know i could not handle it as i am too weak!

Rita 45, I''m so sorry you are so sick. I hope you start to feel better real soon. The flu can just wipe me out too. I had to stop Elmiron but for keeps because of too many side effects. I hope it helps you again soon. Hugs to you

Hi Rita,
I'm sorry to here you are sick.I had the flu about 2 weeks ago ,I am still wiped out from it.
Have you talked to your doc about not taking the elmiron?You need to talk to him and he/she might be able to help you.Also be careful what cold/flu meds you take alot of them have alcohol in them :eek: which can make your ic worse.
I hope you feel better soon and I will be praying for you.
