Elmiron/low sex drive

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in their sex drive due to the IC, or possibly as a side effect of Elmiron? I don't have pain with intercourse, as so many others do, but lately, I have just completely lost all interest in sex. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I haven't heard of this particular side effect from elmiron. Are you on any other medications or herbal remedies (herbal remedies are also medications)?

It could be just the pain from IC.

I have been on Elmiron for 3 years and thought the same thing. But I came to the conclusion that it's my contraceptive. I take OvCon 35 everyday for 3 months and I noticed that the ONE week every 3 months I get my period, I actually have a sex drive! Are you any birth control? I think mine has definately lowered my sex drive. Take care.

I think pain has a ton to do with it....
