My parents gave me a day of beauty with their stylist for my birthday. I have very dark brown hair that now has blond, that's right blond highlights everywhere. He did such a good job! Every other time I have gotten highlights I have gone with a red tone because I have natural red highlights. These took about 5 years off me. Amazing. Can't wait to see what they say at work on Monday. Hee-hee.

I wonder if the new do will help with the social life now that I have to re-enter the dating scene after 14 years. HMMM....:rolleyes:

I love getting a new do! I used to be a dirty blond. Now I have dark brown hair with red highlights. Big changes in your hair can make big changes in your life. Congrats! I hope everyone at works likes it, and that you get asked out in the next few weeks:hi:

Sorry guys, wasn't blowing you off, I went to Mom and Dad's for my favorite dinner and birthday cake. I can't wash it today and it looks like dookie so after I style it in the morning I'll post some pics.

:smile tee I can't wait to see the before & after pictures Barb .As this is what I do for a living. As a Mastercolorist I love this part of the job , Seeing the transformation , It's really amazing what a little change and color placement , can change someone's skin tone and face shape.

It really did change my skin tone. I have such naturally dark hair and pale skin that with lighter hair I don't look like the walking dead. I have been extra pale with this flare and even that isn't as noticeable. I also let him cut a couple of inches off.

I've always went with the red highlites too.....same thing as you.
I can't wait to see pics also, you might just inspire me to take the plunge!:)

I did the same thing last year right before I got married, My natural color is light reddish brown and as you can see in the picture I have lots of blonde in mine now..lol. I love it though..

Can't wait to see -- bet you look great. A few years ago, I went from a dirty blond (blah Looking) to auburn - the difference!!
