I was wondering if any of you had a problem with peanut butter. I haven't tried it yet, too scared. I love a good sandwhich (sans jelly).
Thanks!

Me too, I was fine with it -but I only ever bought the all-natural stuff, I think I'd get Smucker's, the rest of the gang around here prefer Jiff so we're a 2 brand peanut butter home, lol. But I like the natural stuff much better, I was eating it waaaay before IC! ;)

This confuses me I thought peanuts were on the bad list. I know we are not all diet sensative. Are you all at all diet sensative? Has anyone had a problem with it? I would love to eat some peanut butter.

Don't eat peanut butter, just don't like it, so I don't know what effect it would have on me. However, peanuts were the very first food that I determined were a trigger food, a real bad one for me. Hope you can enjoy your sandwiches, unfortunately the diet is trial & error. But many of us do figure out our true and worst triggers, and are able to manage our symptoms (some of them, at least) with diet alone or w/ the aid of other treatments.
Best wishes :)

I tried the peanut butter and didn't have a problem with it (yeah!). I do have to try things 2 or 3 times before I know how it will really work, which is what I did with peanut butter.
Carol, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm diet sensitive to and what I'm not. I have a huge list of things I am sensitive. My worst ones are coffee, soda, chocolate, tea, and spicy foods. It's really trial and error I guess.
Thanks everyone!

Peanuts are on the "Usually problematic" list. I can have a few if I haven't had anything else that's a potential problem. And occasionally I have a peanut butter treat.
