Interstim or Spinal cord stimulator

I was just wondering if anyone has the spinal cord stimulator that they use for bladder frequency? My pain doctor says the spinal cord stimulator would be better than the interstim because it would help both my pain and the frequency. Did anyone hear of this?? My urologist thinks the interstim would be best so I am torn about what would be best.
I just tried two nerve blocks and so far no help there.
