shingles OUCH!

Now I have shingles. Have any of you had them? It hurts! I am taking a anti-viral drug, hope it helps soon. Also the doc. said my lungs sound terrible, so back on steroids. I pray I will not end up in the hospital again!

yes, sorry you are going through that. I had 2 bouts already (I am only 27) and doc says I will get many more that my weak immune system means there is no way around it...ahhhhh. I am so sorry. I do a lot now a days to keep my immune system healthier to avoid another out of shingles.....private message me if want to know more....((((((big hugs)))))) I know how it feals when so mcuh is wrong with your body...and the suffering is all over it...atleast with the shingles you most likely will have times of relief. Get well soon.

My husband had shingles --- I know they are miserable. I hope you recover soon.

I had shingles about 2 years before the onset of my IC. Luckily I haven't had another bout. My doc caught it about 3 days in and I recovered pretty quickly. Mine were on my face. Sue
