now that the hysterectomy is over I would like to discuss safe for my Endometriosis alternives to hormone replacement therapy. Last thing I need is the hormones back ...it doesn't seem to take many for me to have a lot endomtrial cells all around so if any of you know of the alternatives that would be safer for my Endomtriosis please tell me about them. It would mean the world to me to know as much as I can. Thank you so very very much for your help.
Love ya,

I recently switched from Premarin to Estrace cream. Only a small amount of the cream is absorbed.

I can not take HRT because I am on blood thinners. So I take black cohosh and soy supplements. They doi a while to kick in but they keep my hot flashes under control so that I can deal with them. Judith

Thank you very much Judith and Donna for your replies. I am so desperate to not have to take the hormones that hurt me because of my endo that I would love to know anything else being done. Please friends if you know anyone you can ask for an idea of what else there is please let me know.

Hello Katrina.
I do use the depo shot for keeping my endo under control I get one every 3 months.I had a hystorectomy to but the doc left one of my overies in.(he is a very dumb doctor.)
It has made a big differance in my life.I had a mass of endo the size of a small baseball and is now almost gone. Thankfuly some one was watching over me or something,Because it was so painful &
now it made thing much better and also in other areas that it was in.
I wish you the best of luck in what ever you go with to help. grouphug
God bless you and take care.
Love always, Zookeeper Kim

Hi Katrina, so sorry it took me so long to get to this post, I cannot take any kind of hormones, I am allergic to them, I get very severe headaches or very sick with them. Once I tried premain for a while but had to come off it. So I just don't have any hormones going into my body and that is just fine and dandy with me. Best of luck in your search. Praying and hoping that you feel better soon. Please take care of you and rest and rest and rest. Don't lift anything. grouphug grouphug

Thank you everyone for your help...Debbie if you don't take any hormones do you do anything to help your bones or anything like that to prevent the problems that come from having low or no hormones?
I still want more answers...so scared of what will happen if I take hormones....and from experience know I need to begin things with docs educated in my choiches. Thanks a lot friends. I so don't want Cancer or Endo pain. This is so important to me.
Lots of love,
