My doc also took food away that you tested positive to for allergies. For me it was a few hard ones like dairy. I tried this pill once and thought it made me hurt. It could of been the american cheese (dairy). Well, it was a really bad flare so I stopped the med and the dairy. I think I need to try it again. I know atarax is suppose to help inflamation and mass cells. Does it help with what foods you can eat? Does it help with "food allergies"? I never would of known that I was slightly allergic to dairy (milk, cheese, butter) if it was not for my bladder. All it did was make my urgency increase. I had no other allergic reaction.

atrax/hydroxizine is basically a higher dose of byndryl from what I was told. I don't know if it will help you with your food alergies. I would ask your doctor or locoal pharmacy. I take 75mg at night before bed , it dose make me drowsy.

I think I'd definitely give my doc a call and ask or ask a pharmacist! ;)

How did your doctor find out if you are allergic to dairy? Skin test? Blood test? If it is a true allergy, I wonder if you can do immunotherapy to help that...?

The urologist I go to has you go to the allergist to find out what foods you can and can not eat. He said I was allergic to milk and some other stuff. I only scored a one out of four but I have found I think that not eating it helps my bladder. The test he ran was the back scrach test.
