Hello everyone!!! I'm not newly diagnosed, but have been in remission for the past year and a half. But everything's back with a vengence.:bonk: Can't tell you how nice it was to just live life pain and symton free. :) To be able to say "sure i'll go out with you next week" to a friend and not worry about what my bladder and pelvis were going to do to me that day. But I am so glad I have this site to come back to, to know your not alone is so comforting. Well just wanted to say hello to everyone and also if your in the Central Florida area, I would love to start a support group. So if anyone is interested let me know or if anyone just needs to talk and wants to talk to someone in their area, please contact me!!!

Danielle...I am so sorry. Take some time to try to remember what may have caused the remission in the first place. Write them down. It is possible that, since you were in remission, you can get back there, again.

Thank you both for your replies. I appreciate it. To Sharon, I honestly don't know what cased the remission, at the time I was only taking pain medication, since nothing else had worked for me. So when the pain went away, I detoxed off the pain meds and wasn't taking anything. So I am at a loss trying to figure out why it has come back, believe me I have been laying in bed at night crying Why? Why? The one thing I can think of is a very stressful situation with my husband but do you think that could do it? I know stress makes your symptoms worse but to bring it all back after feeling 100 percent better? Oh well. Again thank you both for replying to my post!
Big Hugs to you both!!!

I certainly think stress is what keeps doing this to me. I didn't even know I had IC until a little over a month ago, but looking back at times I've been in chronic stress, I did have symptoms of IC then. When the symptoms went away I didn't think about it anymore. The dr told me that as time goes on, if not treated, IC will get worse and mine did. I haven't been symptom free now for almost two months. Hopefully things will be in control for both of us soon.
