I have a small hiatal hernia and was prescribed Protonix, and then Nexium at the time (before IC) for Acid Reflux. Now my bladder isn't tolerating Prilosec, Protonix, and I think even Pepcid is giving me some problems, and I know that is suppose to help somewhat. I haven't tried Nexium again because I'm not willing to spend the money on it without knowing if it will flare me too so I hope my md will give me some samples I can try. The funny thing is is at the time IC made it's ugly appearance I was trying to come off of my Nexium. I wonder if there is a relationship between IC and our gastric system seeing the nerves all run through the same area. Who knows, I just wish something would work for my discomfort (putting it mildly)!!
