Okay, Im desperate here. Im thinking of doing a juice fast for a week. The reason why is because I cant tell what Im reacting to. All I know is I ate a pear and an apple and Ive been peeing non stop and have extreme urge to where Im crying. I cant hold the pee anymore! Ive been going but then it still feels like I never went and Ive been holding that for 5 weeks now. Maybe in order to help the body heal or soothe the lining drinking broths, aloe vera and veggie juice made fresh with a juicer could help. I think I may try it.
I noticed when I ate cabbage I was suffering less that day. I also noticed when I drank aloe vera juice I was burning a little less. So, maybe it can help. Then after the fast I would add things back in from the ic diet.
This is not a good idea. The apple is probably what set off your flare. Many, if not most, IC patients find apples to be trigger foods. Here is a copy of the IC diet. You might try eating only from the "usually ok" foods for a few weeks, then gradually trying some of the milder foods from the "sometimes ok" list one by one when you are feeling better.

Aloe vera juice can be very acidic as well, depending on the brand you buy. Desert Harvest brand aloe vera tends to be one of the better tolerated ones.
Be patient & kind to yourself. Your body is fighting to heal itself, a juice fast will only nutritionally deplete you & leave you more vulnerable, not less. Eat well balanced small meals from the "usually okay" list for a few weeks. Hopefully that will calm things down a bit. Have you started any treatments, medicines? Most of us need both diet modification & identification of trigger foods AND medicine.
It takes awhile to figure this stuff out, be patient, hang in there. I was very very sick when I first got IC and now with my individualized diet and medicines, I feel pretty good most days. The fact that you can notice a difference in your symptoms depending on diet is actually a good sign, it means that your pain level CAN be lowered. So, a few weeks from now if you are diligent about the diet & starting treatment, you will be feeling better.

I agree with Kadi as well. IC can be very hard on your body, you don't want to take vital nutrients away from your body that it needs to try to fight. I did the diet for several months and found there are only a few food triggers that I have and I can tell when I've had one because my pain, frequency and urgency def go up.
There are plenty of really bland things on the usually okay list that shouldn't bother you such as chicken, beef without seasoning other than salt, rice, pasta, potatoes. I know it's boring but hopefully it will help to get your symptoms under control and then you can start adding other things back in slowly.
