I finally went tonight to pick up my one lousy box of B&Os and asked the pharmacist that since they were a compounding pharmacy if they could make them for me. I told them that several people on this board were able to get them made. So, the pharmacist said there was a good chance the day pharmacist could do it for me and he would leave a note for him tomorrow asking him to do it for me. So please, cross your fingers and toes. Thankfully I have some now because I started a whop doozy of a period that has put me on my knees today. I got home from that long drive and used one and was finally able to get some relief. I swear those things are a Godsend to me. The pharmacists there tonight were so kind to me and told me they could see that I was in pain. I think they will even mail them to me if he can make them....so get your fingers and toes limbered up and crossed, send me good thoughts, whatever you want to do because I could use SOMETHING To go right.

They told me that the demand is so low they reduced production then all of a sudden people wanted them....the word is spreading, and I suspect it's partly due to us talking about how much they help us!

So, I'm going to write the phamaceutical co tomorrow and BEG them to begin making them again, ASAP.....and if I can find the email or address would you guys like to bombard them with emails telling them how much we need them to get by?

Wish me luck!! I sure do need a run of some good luck!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea why the compounding pharmacys around here tell me that they can't make them since they are manufactured. I have tried 4. I even call a place called RX Catering. I saw it on the way to work. I called them and asked them about B & O Supp. The lady was totally confused. When I explained again, she said "Dear, we cater food". I was so humiliated. Wouldn't you thing if you saw a sign that said RX Catering, that it was a pharmacy. Maybe I am just desperate. I did find 1 that I had in a purse that I had used earlier this summer. It is my for my in case of emergency use only! I am going to guard that with my life. LOL!

I have sent an email to the 3 suppliers for 3 major national chains, so far no response. I may try to start calling today.

Good luck to all! Tracey

I crossed my toes, but couldn't get my shoes on (OWCH), but my fingers are crossed. I so hope they will be able to compound them.

Sending warm hugs,
Donna

I am glad you got atleast the one box. Have you looked at any of the online pharmacies? Sometimes they have the things that are hard to find.

O.K. I got every single thing crossed and now I am even going to do the Hokey Pokey and turn myself around :smile tee

I pray you can get all of the B & O's you need and yes I will write a letter also. Just let me know where to send it. I have never tried them but I am very interested in them. I am going to ask my doctor about them next month when I go to see him. There is a compounding pharmacy here in Houston that is pretty well known so I will also send you their website. Don't know if it will help or not but it might be worth a try.

Hang in there and I hope you get some relief today.

And thanks for being such a true little angel  to me the other day. I so appreciate you :)

Sandy,

I saw my pain DR yesterday and he was going to RX these to me. I was SOOO happy since I have been in one constant spasm since I started miscarrying. He left the room and came back telling me he called the pharmacist and these are no longer available in the US...only in Canada????? So i have no RX. I am so disapointed because I was really hoping these would work for my poor bladder.

My DR upped my Oxycontin to two in the AM since that is when I am in the worst pain. I have to get the generic and it doesn't work well at all. Now there is only one generic available of Oxy and it sucks! The old generic was so much better for me but it's been discontinued. Oh well.

I am tired of drug companies causing us poor sick people so many problems!

Please let me know if you do find anything more out regarding the B&O's! Thanks so much!

I haven't heard anything from the pharmacy but I don't take that as a no, I take that as a he's working on it. They're really nice, good people there and he would have called me to say no if it was no. So, we'll see. I've had so many pm's from people trying to help me get them and I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! The only problem is that this is a Schedule II medication and I don't think you can transfer an out of state RX like that. But thanks to sandymarie we may have found a connection here in Charlotte...so there may be two possible ways to get help here in Charlotte.

I hope, Hope, HOPE!!!!!! I really hate to wait til mid October, at the EARLIEST.

Thank you all....I'm so fortunate to have you all in my life!

Hugs, Sandy
