Has anyone gotten their amalgam fillings removed? I read they are dangerous to our body and dangerous to take out. Any one had them removed with success. Or does anyone have some insight regarding this?

I hate to be dumb, but what are they?

Amalgum fillings are the silver colored fillings most of us have in our mouths. I have lots of them --- and I have done a great deal of research and have never found reports of any medical studies that verifies that they are in any way harmful to our bodies. I need a filling right now and it will very likely be another amalgum.

I have my share of those too. Too much crunching ice when I was anemic did a number on my teeth! One of my molars has a chip on it and I really need to go to the dentist, but my dentist retired and I don't like the one that bought his practice. I need to find a dentist that is close to my work. It would make it much easier. I hate the dentist, even with insurance it cost so much! I am sorry if anyone is a dentist! I would rather spend my money on shoes!
