Upset Stomach

I have had the worst upset stomach lately. I feel like everything I eat goes right through me and I don't eat bad foods. I'm wondering if this goes along with the IC. Yesterday it was so bad and when I woke up in the morning I had no pain in my bladder I felt great but by the end of the day I was so sore from having to run to the bathroom so much. It's like when my stomach if upset I can feel the pain in my bladder too. I think my urethra was so from wiping too much. I know this is too much info.

What meds are you on? I ask this because sometimes the meds make your stomach upset.

Oh, nothing is too much info around here! You would have to go a lot further than that, before you could shock this group, LOL.

Honestly, I don't have an answer for you but I'm sure someone will. I've noticed I can pee more easily if there's nothing in my bowels. And Jenny's right, meds can contribute to stomach problems. I get an acid stomach from some of my meds, so I take prelief at the same time and that solves that problem.

I take elmiron 100mg 3 x a day, that's it right now. I'm going to see an IC Specialist next week and talk to him about other possible medications. I've taken prelief with food before and never felt a difference. I never thought of trying it with my medication.

When I was on Elmiron, I had the EXACT sme problem. My Uro took me off of it because it was so severe.
