I am going to a 3 day, outdoor music festival. The food they sell there will not be IC friendly, so I need to pack all the food I will need for a 10-12 hour day each day. Any recommendations on IC-friendly picnic food? I'm in a flare right now, so I am only eating safe foods.
Thanks! :hi:

String cheese, green pepper strips, carrots, crackers with cheese spread (I love Laughing Cow_), golden delicious apple, cut up a salad and add some cheese and any kind of nuts you can have. I can tolerate smoked ham and that's one that will keep for even a hot day. If you have a cooler to keep your food cold, baked or broiled chicken is good cold. Tuna salad (I smoosh up the tuna and add some cheese spread to hold it together) and lettuce in pita bread. I like pita bread --- it's a little different and not too bad in calories or fat.
