I've noticed I've been more thirsty and experiencing dry mouth alot even though I'm drinking more water than ever. Does anyone know which meds cause this or even if it is the meds?

Elavil & Ditropan can cause dry mouth. There are probably other meds that do the same thing, but these are the meds that cause dry mouth for me.
Have you checked the information sheets the pharmacist gives you with your prescriptions?

Agape pain pills causes dry mouth for me. Drinking water is good but in between times I chew gum to keep the saliva going.

I take Ditropan and it definitely causes dry mouth. You should talk to your doctor if it's too bad.

I've found that Biotene gel works (especially if I use it at bedtime) and they also make a Biotene gum. Both are designed for dry mouth and can be really helpful. Other than that, I try to keep some hard candy in my purse and on my desk for times when I'm really dry. Just be a bit careful of candy ingredients if you're sensitive to anything. I've actually been OK with lemon drops, but usually stick with peppermints, root beer flavored candy or horehound candy.
