Does anyone have normal sex or does everyone have pain?

I think everyone is different but sex usually causes me to flare. Sometimes it's just a frequency flare, sometimes I have a lot of pain afterwards. I usually have to find the right position because if I'm not careful then hubby ends up pushing right on my bladder and I feel like I have to pee the whole time, that's no fun. I usually take my AZO and a pain pill before hand to prep.

I've not been sexually active with IC, so can't answer you personally, but my gynecologist says that once the IC is well managed, sex can be pain free. She says that that's been the case with most of her IC patients.... One of the more hopeful things I've heard...
