hi im wanting to purchase some calcium citrate as i have read that its great for vulodynia and ic.......the problem is that apparently you cant take ones with added vitD which cuts out most products i have finally found one in New zealand where i live.........i understand that citrus acid is a nono, it dosnt have that but it has these in the tablet agent are these safe? i fiqurethe mag stearate is fine and aslo the gum and silicon but the stearic acid (just the word acid freaks me) any idea, i will also do internet search on these additives.


Other Ingredients: acacia gum, stearic acid, modified cellulose gum, colloidal silicon dioxide, and magnesium stearate.
Suitable for vegetarians and HYPOALLERGENIC: contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, corn, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, salt, preservatives or artificial colour, flavour or fragrance.

ok goggled steric acid and its pretty harmless. its bascally a fatty acid used in heaps of things from soap to coatings on tablets.checking out other stuff now will let ya no..

most tablets have stearic acid that i've seen, I havent had a problem w/it.

oh i forgot that it also contains iron with the calcium citrate..........i no its silly but just checking iron is ok isnt it............im sure it is........

Have you asked your doctor? If not, I think it would be a good idea.
