I'm taking hydro 10/325. It's not helping anymore but i am afraid of percs/morphine. Is there something in between these that won't affect me mentally. I can't take elavil or any thing else like that because of my "med resistant" bipolar. Neurontin zombifies me and anything reacts w/my psyche meds I'm thrown into a wicked manic phase. I haven't been able to keep my house clean for over a month and my daughter is starting to hover around my bed like it's a hospital bed. HELP!!! I'm in a flare. I'm too tired to get up and pee and even if I did it would burn so bad I'd regret it. Any help I can get would be appreciated. My brain chemicals are off we think I have an overactive pineal gland. Meds are my worst enemy but my only relief. I hate this crap.

Tylenol 3 works very well for me, for mild to mod pain, but when I needed something stronger for severe pain, my pain dr rxd hydrocodone (Lortab 7.5) and it did absolutely nothing for my pain. It took a lot of convincing my pain dr that it didn't work for me and that it was making me emotional and depressed, since Tylenol 3 is considered a weaker med but it does work for me without side effects. I asked about Percocet and I don't know why but he didn't want me on that, possibly only b/c I asked for it by name and he likes to be in control of things, and he rxd dilaudid 4 mg, which was very surprising b/c it's apparently not Rxd that often except for end stage cancer patients. I take it only as needed for severe pain and have had no side effects. And no problems with tolerance or dependency because I don't have severe pain every day so I only take it as needed. I am very happy with it and also been very happy with Tylenol 3...it's been my only pain med for years til I was rxd Dilaudid and it still works for me for mild-mod pain, taken only as needed.
