OMG!:toilet: My stupid body is trying to have a period even though I'm on contious bcp. This is the time that I would normally get it and I'm spotting alot (I'm going to ask my gyn at my yearly check up about changing pills). Apparently the spotting and the stress have put me into a BIG flare :cussing: I'm hurting really bad and now I'm so sick to my stomach I feel like I'm going to puke. I don't know if it's from the pain, from the vicoden I took hours ago which doesn't usually make me stick or the AZO. That's the only stuff I've taken today. I had off Friday and Monday because I felt so crappy and now here I am feeling like I can't make it through the rest of the day. Lord, I'm going to lose it soon! Hopefully I can make it through at least a couple more hours and maybe only miss an hour or two if I have to leave early. Blah :bonk:

Christine I can't do continuous BCP. I've tried and my body just ends up feeling awful until I let my period come. I will get more and more bloated, more IC pain, boobs swell up, zits, crabby as all heck and this will last for weeks. It's like yeah you don't have your period but you have constant PMS where every week is like the week before you start. Who wants that? Then whammo once my period starts, RELIEF. So if you don't have a ton of pain during your cycle then I wouldn't recommend continuous BCP. I take an estrogen-only pill during my cycle which allows me to bleed, but keeps my hormone levels up so I don't get headaches. I hope you are feeling better soon. I'm sure the pain meds and AZO are contributing to the nausea.

Christine, Did you eat anything when you took your meds? I know if I dont eat when I take azo or pain meds I get that feeling.. Just a thought, but I know its to late now.. So sorry you have to deal with more crap..I really believe its all the stress you have been dealing with lately...Stress always throws my body out of whack... You should ask your Dr for a low dose of xanex....I wish I could zap it all away for you, but the best I can do is send a  and a cyber (((((hug)))))

I have the depo shots and I don't have any problems unless I lose track of when my next shot is. I have been counting and I really think that I should have mine now or actually a couple of weeks ago. That may be why I am flaring so much. I also feel bloated and can't eat without feeling sick. The depo shots took that pain away. I was absolutely miserable when I was about to start. My appt isn't until next week for my uro/gyno appt. This is going to be a long weekend!

I hope the time goes fast for you Christine! That is how I was yesterday at work. I was forcing myself to stay awake. I even went into the bathroom stall and just layed my head against the toilet roll holder to rest my eyes for a few minutes. Man I could have used some COFFEE!

I just want some sleep!!!

Oh thanks everyone! I took a ginger pill my co-worker gave me and that seemed to help with the upset tummy. As for the continous bcp, when I had endo before the IC started acting up then I would feel better when I would get my period and I was so happy I was getting it. Every since my bladder really started acting up with the IC I can't STAND to get my period. The last time I had it a couple of months ago it literally felt like my bladder was going to fall out and I missed two days of work because I couldn't move. I can't go through that every month because I will kill myself AND we'll go broke from me missing so much work. Only an hour and a half left until the day is over. I told hubby he is on dinner duty tonight because I'm sure as heck not doing it.

Thats like me Christine, There is NO way I could handle having a period along with IC, It was bad enough with the endo.. I had one with the IC and I thought I was going to go nuts...:loco:

It definitely made a difference to me when I quit having my periods. My husband had the big "V" when my younger son was 2, so I hadn't been on birthcontrol for years. I never could convince my other doctor to let me have the shot since I was already on so many meds (before interstim), but my new doctor didn't see a problem with it and it is wonderful!

I called my doctor's office and I am due for my shot. They told me to just come in on my way to work tomorrow and they will give me my shot. I bet they charge me for an appt even though I have one scheduled for next week, but if it will help me get out of this flare, it will be worth the co-pay!

Thanks for your post. It didn't occur to me that my period may be about to start. I knew I hadn't eaten any "bad" foods and I am drinking nothing by my boring water!
