Surgery Tomorrow

Well I have surgery tomorrow, or should I say later on today, and now I am starting to freak out a bit. They are looking for endo, and part of me hopes they'll find something so they can do something about some of this pain and part of me wishes they'll find nothing because I really don't want anything else on my plate. The prep they gave me has really aggravated my bladder. I have no idea if I'll get any sleep at all tonight. If it wasn't for you guys I'd go crazy. Wish me luck.

Good luck Christine,
I know you may not check here before you go for surgery but if they are doing a lap then it's really not that bad. I had one a couple of years ago to have a really big ovarian cyst removed and I was sore for awhile but nothing major. I hope everything goes well for you and you have a speedy recovery.

I'm home! It went well. I still have my appendix. Girly bits looking good. Doc left me a note saying she found and removed what look like "mild peritoneal abnormalities that could be endometriosis" and sent them off to pathology. Wants to see me in 3 weeks, so it looks like I'm playing the waiting game. When I told her that I was in the middle of a 25 day flare she even offered to give me a distention,but I declined. I want to talk to my uro about trying an Instill.I'm tired, sore, nauseaus and cranky as hell. In other words on the road to recovery. Thank you so much for your good wishes, I really appreciate them. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one feeling crappy at 1:30 in the a.m. (I mean that in the nicest way :smile tee ) Thank you again.
