Even though I have been in pain and feeling like crap, I had promised her I would get her room done.. I finally finished it yesterday, with the help of Dom..She was very happy!. Life has to go on even with IC..grrr

yea, the sponge roll was cool...Dom and I had fun doing the splatter paint on the mirror and shelf to..I think he splattered himself more than the shelf or mirror..lol.. She wanted a busy room.. So that's what she got.. Funny thing is shes quite and slow.. Her nick name is Turtle D:smile tee

Busy she got. :lmao: It would send me into hyper drive to try to sleep in there. You sure put a lot of work in there. It is very cute and girly.

I love pink and green! I don't have girls but when my son's started bringing girls home from college, I made my craft room into the "girls" room and added a daybed. It's pink and green as well, but not that bright! My son's tease me about the room since it is so "girlie" but I never had a chance to decorate a girlie room.
The room is very cute! I am sure that your step-daughter is tickled! I know you are glad that you have that project done. I know how hard it is to get anything done with this horrible disease!

Yea Tracey all I have was boys so having a step daughter is cool because now I get to do the girly things..She loved the room, and even though I was feeling bad I really enjoyed doing it..She is 11 and so sweet, she wrote Dom and I a note thanking us saying how much she loved the room..See it was important to us to do this, because at her moms she does not have her own room she shares it with her 16 year old sister.. So this gives her own space now. And its the colors she picked out...Its a happy room for sure....lol

It's really cute! My daughter had a bed very similar to that. In fact we just sold it on Craigs list not too long ago because I redid her room and gave her a queen size bed. You did a great job on her room. I LOVE the color combination. She will certainly wake up energized in the mornings won't she?! LOL
Life does go on. It's amazing what we can get done when we set our minds to it isn't it? I think it's very sweet that you gave her a room of her own. :)
