Ok, when is it going to happen? I have tried the wait and see, let her do it herself thing, read all the books, tried the bribery, tried taking things away. I really just need to vent right now I'm really just frustrated, because I don't know what to do. I feel like a worthless mother, because I don't know what to do. She is 3 years old. She has been potty trained on tee-tee for a year and a half. She did that herself. BUT we REFUSE to poo-poo in the potty. Asks for a pull-up or finds one herself and hides to do it. If I ask her to even sit on the potty to poo-poo she screams, kicks, and cries. She says big girls poo-poo there I am just a baby. I know in a way she is still a baby. This is the child who already dresses herself completely. Buttons, buttons, snaps, buckles, shoes and all. Smart little girl of course im biased. I just don't understand why this isn't happening. I want to go back to school part time, but the only place for her requires that they be completely potty trained no pull-ups. That is not really that important though. I can wait to go back to school. She will always come first. Sorry this is so long just had to get a lot of frustrations out.

Thanks all

I know this is totally off the wall, and my youngest is in his late 30's, but when my children were very small, I had a friend with a little one who would not do his bm on the toilet stool --- she finally found out that he was afraid that he was losing part of his body and it was being flushed away. She finally convinced him by getting the little potty out again and actually lining the potty with a diaper (before the day of disposables and pull-ups). You might try putting a pull-up in the potty and putting the potty where she has total privacy. It just might work.

Warm hugs,
