Well, I have a small hairline fracture in my left arm. The last thing I needed.
I was out yesterday playing paintball with my boyfriend and my gun jammed (the CO2 tank, makes the gun fire, pin broke so it released a steady stream of air into the gun causing it to jam). As my BF was trying to unjam it, it fired off 2 shots (he forgot to put the saftey on). One hit me in the arm (it was barel to skin) and the other in my rib (about 6 inches away). It didn't really hurt at first. Stung, that was about it. So after he got it to work we finished playing and all was well.
When I woke up this morning, my arm hurt SO bad. I coudn't really move it and it was swollen where I was it. No bruise. Just intense pain. Got a bone scan (I think is what it was called) and it showed a very small hairline fracure. The doctor said there was nothing I could do other than NSAIDs and RICE. And not use my arm too much. Took some Ibuprphen and it took the edge off.
So yeah, my mom wasn't thrilled.
On the pluss side, I technicaly won the game. I was only hit once (not by accident) in the face mask, and I hit my BF 4 times (in the arm, back of the thigh, hopper [the container that holds the painballs on the gun], and the butt:evilsmile). However I will have to lay off the paintball until my arm gets better.
