In the Sept. issue of this magazine, ten or so doctors are honored with Health Breakthrough Awards for major contributions to the medical field that will change the face of medicine.
If you have it or wish to run out and get it, I'd like to direct your attention to page 194 and Dr. Anthony Atala. Whatever side of the stem cell debate you are on, it is an interesting article. And, for those of you who have wished for new bladders (who hasn't ;) ), the last paragraph about Dr. Atala will intrigue you.
