Safe Antibiotic for Root Canal Treatment

I need information on a safe antibiotic for treatment during a root canal process. My dentist started my treatment today and gave me cephalexin 500mg. He also gave me a prescription for lortab for pain. He will finish the root canal next week. I haven't taken any antibiotics in ages and have not a precription for pain in many years.

I am already flaring with pelvic pain and dealing with that through a physical therapist. Any information or opinions would be apppreciated.

Everyone is different. You'll have to see how you react to the cephalexin. Make sure you take probiotics while on the antibiotics. I also use Nystatih vaginal tablets to combat the yeast! good luck
