Just received my catscan results yesterday afternoon. I had to go back to the cardio office after letting them know that I was coughing up some blood. - it was only a little and really wasn't worried as my PT/INR (I take coumadin which is a blood thinner) They wanted me in so I can be checked again. Told me they would get me to go and get a chest xray that I might have pneumonia and in the meantime they would look for my catscan results. Luckily I went in- as just in 4 days my levels went from 4.0 to 5.7 - (haven't taken antibotics or ate anything different that would make it go up). Anyway, when I got there I asked about it and she said we found out what is wrong with you, she said that I have a growth on my lung; so they made me an appointment to see a specialist later this month. they also made sure I was on this doctors cancellation list so that if I can get in earlier, than I can. They called my family doctor and the nurse talked to him and told him what she is going to do - and I asked her what did he said, and she said he was somewhat speechless. That all he said was fine that we will take care of it right now. So this morning I called them to make sure I have my referral and do have it.
So, tell me how do I go from gallbladder to this? (the nurse told me that no one was looking for this they were all looking for something else). But at least we have my answer- my nurse told me it just sometimes take time, but she knew there was something wrong with me because of the weight loss (Lost amost 15 pounds since May; been tired; I have had a constant infection; and my PT/INR been high--usually its in the normal range).
Will keep you all inform. Thanks for your support.
