Very cute Cindy! My brother took some pictures of Griffin today paying with his new t-ball set. I'll have to get them from him and post them. I think the batteries in my camera were dead so I didn't even bother to try.

Sunflowers just scream "summer". Wish I could claim this one as my own, however I cant! This beauty resides at a local arboretum maintained by the Master Gardeners club in this area....

Roxie, you have a lovely garden. Do you entertain there often? I am wondering about the squirrels, do they cause any problems for you? I have to ask also, do you have trouble with people nicking your gnomes? Hahahaha We had a spate of gnome-nicking here a while back.The perpertraters would whisk them away on holidays and send photos back to the owners! hahahah.. All in good fun though.
Diana, more squirrels! Do you see them around much in winter?

Hi Rosalie,
Thank you.......we do love our yard. We have an acre and it's a lot to take care of but it's beautiful here. We do entertain when ever we get a chance. We have a big brick bbq pit that we want to get up and running again. It was made quite a few years ago and needs some new metal grates on it, but I think it would be a blast to cook on it when we have a big party!
We haven't had anyone swipe the gnomes yet.....hopefully we won't. I love gnomes and bought 2 new ones this year.
As far as the squirrels go.......we encourage them to come here. We feed them twice a day and we have anywhere from 15-20. It was great this spring when all the babies came down for the first time. We have a large area where we scatter the food so that way they don't squabble over food.
We are tickled pink because we had 2 humming birds eating from one of the feeders tonight. It's the first we've had this summer. Can you tell I'm an outdoor lover? LOL Take care!
