I pre-ordered the new Harry Potter book for my daughter on Amazon and forked over the extra 3.99 shipping so that it would be here on Saturday, the day of release so that we don't have to go to any of those insane midnight release party's at the bookstore. I'm telling you, if you've got kids who HAVE to have this book ON Saturday (or if YOU want the book on Saturday) then check out Amazon. I think this is the last day to pay standard shipping and have a guaranteed arrival on Saturday, the official release date.

My daughter is so flippin excited...she's at the beach and STILL calls me just to make sure everything is ok with that order! LOL

Only two more days...eek! :)

I am with you Erika, I am so geeked, it's like Christmas Eve waiting for Santa! Only, I have self imposed some rules on myself, lol, I decided to reread (for the millionth times, lol) books 1-5 (I just reread book 6 in prep for book 7 ;) ) one more time before knowing all the answers and seeing what I can try to figure out one last time...I also love reading the editorials at one of the more popular Harry Potter sites, they are so fun!!! And some people are so clever and have found tons of things etc.

Then I suppose it's back to the usual rule of trying to stick to one or two chapters a night so I can make it last longer....lol

Oh I can't wait!!! My B-day is next month and my MIL is giving me the money to go buy it as an early present. We haven't ordered it though so I may wind up at Walmart at midnight standing in line for it like I did last time. Hubby thinks that's part of the fun. Last time I didn't have IC though, so I guess we'll see what happens. I'm really looking forward to reading it though!
