I came up with some new house rules, and trying to make them apply!
I am the only driver in my house. I have to take Jake out to take Dave to work, come home, Take Jake out again to take Ashley to work. Then again to pick up Dave. Some times I have to pick Ash up, but do not need to take Jake out again. I spend at least 3 hours a day in the van with no a/c with hot fussy 2 year old to cart these guys to and from work.. my theory is as soon as Dave is home from work I am off duty!! I deal with all the running, and Jake for at least 12 hours it won't kill him to spend an hour with him and put him to bed. When he gets off work at 5 he should take care of him till bed time. It might kill him tho, because he won't spend time with me, and if we are even in the same room we do not speak. If I try to talk to him I get no reply! and he sits here looking like some one just killed his dog. Geesh, I need a break.
You know of course none of that ever takes place, and all the responsibility is laid on me.. what goes wrong is my fault, and what not.. got yelled at for the sink leaking, it was my fault, because last year I put a dish washer in. Had I been patient he would have done it. Let me tell you 7 years ago in a drunken rage he busted the top rack of my brand new dish washer, took it out and put it in the garage. I begged for 6 years for him to put it in. So I got one at a yard sale and did it myself, while he was working. anywho, It wasn't the hot water leaking or the drain hose, it was the cold water at the shut off and the cold water on the faucet, no apologies of course! He ripped out the base and tossed it out the door, and took my dish washer out! today, off work, he goes to work in the garage, yet the pipe is still leaking in the floor..
Well so here we sit again and tried to talk, no reply.. so screw him, if he wants to act like that let him. one day he will be as lonely as he makes me feel, and he will want to talk to me, but I will be gone.
MIS disease applies here lol

I agree with Leslie, sounds good in theory but doubt he will follow them. I'm sorry that you have to deal with a pain in the butt hubby in addition to all your other crap that you have going on :(

Let me tell you with many years of experience, it doesn't work that way, which it would, but it just doesn't! If someone here says it does, please let us know!! Goodluck
