Bridal Shower Ideas Needed

My friends are throwing me a bridal shower next month. I need some ideas. I dont want it to be a corny shower with a bunch of silly games that no one wants to play.

Im really excited about doing this. We are having it on a Saturday afternoon at TGI Fridays. A good friend of mine is the ast manager there so he will section off a part of the restaurant for us. I just dong want it to be boring.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a great, neutral location. You should think about having a 'Jack and Jill' shower. That way the guys and girls both can mingle and have a good time.

You don't have to have games. But one good one could be giving out sheets of paper and let each couple write down their favorite drink or food recipe.....and hopefully get it accurate since it's off the top of their head!

My brother just got married last summer, actually their 1 year anniversary is this weekend so I'm trying to remember what they did at my SIL party. I really am having a hard time remembering what we did though other than eat and watch her open presents.

I think that we did some game where we were not supposed to say wedding or bride or something. Everybody was wearing a pin or necklace and if they said the forbidden word then they got their pin taken away by the person who heard them say it. The person with the most of them at the end one. I think there was also something where we had groups but I can't remember, I took my vicoden and my memory is going. Hope you have loads of fun though!:smile tee

I bought a beautiful journal for the sign in book and asked the guests to sign their name and write in their words of wisdom, advice, or wishes for the bride to be. It is a great memory that the bride can cherish forever.
