it's my IC anniversary!

Happy Anniversary! This month is my 5 year anniversary! It all started July 2002. It felt like a bladder infection. I had the urgency/frequency my GP at the time didn't see any infection in urine but treated me anyway. about a month later same thing happened. He actually was telling me it could be inflammation of the bladder lining and wanted me to see a uro. I didn't and he retired and that began 5 years of hell! Too many drs/nurse practioners since then! But I think I am starting to figure it out and feel better.............maybe

I don't know if I should say HAPPY anniversary or not!
In the end, I guess we are happy that we finally know something was wrong all along.

So I hope you treated yourself to something nice. And I do hope your symptoms are more under control than before.

You are definitely a veteran IC'er! I'm going on 10 years with my dx. I was in my early 20's and I just turned 31. So it won't be long.......:bonk:
