Is it common to get an attorney when you are applying?
Thanks,
Jess
In Michigan a lawyer usually don't want your case until you've been turned down the fisrt 2 time. Once you get to you 3rd appeal, then the lawyer will gladly take your case because his 25% of you check got a whole lot bigger~

In south carolina we normally get a lawyer after being turned down the first time. some people still do wait tho. the wait until the second or third time before hireing a lawyer but i found it easier just to go ahead and let the lawyer handle it after i was truned down the first time it was less i had to worry about and he did it quicker then i could on my own. Best of luck in doing what is best for you.
