Newly starting Elmiron

I just got prescribed Elmiron and Elavil today. Just wondering what the biggest side effects are of the medicine and what I can expect. Thanks!!

I can't answer about Elavil but with Elmiron I personally have had no side effects. Some people have nausea that is helped by pouring the contents of the Elmiron capsule into water and taking it like that. That is the one I have heard of the most. But everyone is different with medications and you will just have to wait and see how you do. I hope they will help you. grouphug

Never took Elavil. Although I had no side affects myself with Elmiron I hear the most common are hair loss and stomache. Good luck I hope they help you and you have no side affects.

My suspician is that Elavil would cause tiredness possible dizziness as most common affect.
