anyone taking celexa and elavil?

I used to take celexa but stopped it, now starting to feel down again. Can they be taken together?

I was given both together, by the same doctor at the same time. So I would assum there is no rule against it. Good luck to you!

I'm taking Elavil and Zoloft too. I just started Zoloft 4 days ago ( I started Elavil in December) I'm having a little bit of trouble with Zoloft, some headaches and drier eyes....I will take it for a few more days. I don't know if with Antidepressants you have to give time for your body to adjust (anyone?)

Berkshire and Jezebel: Is Elavil and Celexa or Lexapro a good combo for you ?

I just want to have a plan B since I don't see many people taking Zoloft here.

I take Paxil and Elavil with no problems.

it does take you body some time to get used to them. I like the Celexa as it has worked in the past for me.
