can you download an application for handicap stickers?

I wasn't sure where to post this question but it's kind of in the disability section. Does anyone know if you can print off a copy of the application for a handicap placard? Is that done through the DMV or do you get it from the doctor?

In Oregon you pick up the application from the DMV, then fill it out and take it to your doctor for verification --- then back to the DMV.

I live in MA and I downloaded the PDF version for the application for a handicap placard. I had to have my uro fill it out and sign it and I had to fill out certain sections.....I still haven't mailed it tho :o

Anyways it should be somwhere in your state's RMV/DMV website.

In Michigan you can get it from the computer and your dr signs it. Then, it's automatically renewed, no more paper work. When it expires you just go to DMV, just like you would when your license expires......

I got mine for sec. of state and took it to the dr's office, then back and got my lil blue sign :) i got all lost and confused in the pc lol, senior moment i guess

I found it....thanks girls. I have an appt on July 24th with my pain dr so I will see if she will fill it out for me. I just want the blue placard because I don't need it all the time. Just during my bad flares when I can't walk across the room, let alone the parking lot.

I use my handicapped windshield card only during those bad times. Usually I feel someone else needs it more than I do. But it is very handy at the grocery store when you don't feel well and have to shop.

I have both the plate and the window card. I never know which car I will end up in and it helps so much if I'm going somewhere with another person to have the card on bad days. When I got the plate I had a total meltdown, it was like a life long decision and it hurt :( I'm sure that others have felt the same way~

I was wonring about too, did not know where to get the application for handicap stickers.But never ask anybody. now i know what to do. i usally go with huuby he is my driver these days :)
i got the Application today from DMV next week i have my URO's Appt. i am going to took my form & let him fill this out for me.

well my application is still on my desk in my organizer for 2+ years now, because i feel sorta guilty...I would hardly need it....just those few bad days......ack. I know I should just send it in -- but I just agonize over it just the same.

thank you for asking that question i needed to know now i just got to figure out how to do it in south carolina i will prbly have to go to the dmv pick up the app. and let the doctor fill it out boy i wish icould down load it.

Hi there.. This is for anyone looking for the application for the handicap placard.. go to www.google.com (http://www.google.com) and type in MVR-37A I am pretty sure that is what they call the form in every state.. you should be able to print it from one of them.. Tina
