Hi,

I can eat any of the beans I have tried, but I only buy organic brands of canned beans. The ones I buy have only beans, salt and water in them. Non-organic canned beans have other things added to them.

I like to mash up some canned organic chickpeas with a bit of the liquid from the can, some olive oil, salt, pepper, and a bit of cumin. I eat it with crackers or pita.

I am fine with lentils as well. The red ones cook in about 20 minutes if you are making soup out of them. Make sure you rinse any dried beans or lentils in a sieve before cooking them.

Take care.

Love kidney beans, Amy's organic no fat refried beans, and all beans. Only side effect is musical.
