Jake fell asleep in th floor about 645 pm, and woke up about 8 he was acting really funny. He acted like he was having a hard time breathing, grabbing at his throat, and making a hacking noises. a couple different times when he was crying I had to blow in his face. Sacred the life out of me. So I took him straight to ER. He has viral bronchitis.

if they gave him that medicine to open his airway it makes them hyper:bonk:
Oh Cindy, how scary! I hope he feel better soon. Brianna had Pneumonia last year and it was so scary. By the time we got to the Doctor she was so weak she could hardly walk and had a temperature of 104. I know how scary it can be when they are sick like that, especially since it seems to come out of nowhere. She perked up the next day after only one dose of antibiotics, I am praying he will make just as fast a recovery!

Kids do go downhill very fast but they are also very resilliant and heal so much faster than us adults. Hopefully he'll be on the mend soon. I know he's got to be wearing you out! Let us know how he's doing!

Hi girls, Jake is fussy and not as active, but he is doing ok. They did not give him and treatment at the hospital, because it is "viral" as soon as his bedding drys we are napping.. lol

Jake is finally trying to tak his nap :woohoo: forgot to add last night that jake entertained the bored nursing staff, and one lady gave him a stuffed dinasour. the tag says his name is Swampy, but she told jake it was larrt the lizzard.
anywho off for a nap.
Leslie, I think you are right... he now is running a 99.9 temp.. which is nothing for them, it could be from teething..

Sandy's right.......they do bounce back quicker than we do. My little guy has learned to use his bicycle w/o the training wheels.....so since Spring began I'm just waiting for that dreadful trip to the ER. The good thing too is when they scratch themselves or get some kind of boo-boo by morning it's usually gone.
I'm scratching my head thinking I wish I could still do that.
Take care you two!
